File A Complaint
Before filing a complaint with the Leadership Conduct Office, there are a few guidelines that will be helpful: #1 - You must be over 18 y.o. or older when abused in order to open a complaint. #2- You must be the injured or harmed party. No third party or friend can do this for you. #3 -You must write out clearly, exactly what occurred in detail. (Not so much focus on periphery related topics to the incident.) Just who, when, where and how works well. #4 - Did you report it to your TP, Gurus, regional GBC or anyone in leadership or management authority that also responded back to you? #5 - Have you spoken to anyone in confidence about what happened as a witness(es) for you to support your story? Pls include their names for us. When you're ready to file a complaint, click here or email us at [email protected]. Processing Complaints
Our LCOI encourages those devotees who have been harmed, assaulted or abused to also contact their local police, if they feel it necessary or important to the outcome of their situation. They may file a complaint with their local Law Enforcement Officer as well as filing a complaint with us or in lieu of filing with the LCOI. We can help them with their decision choice.
Our process involves these 4 stages: ● Receive Complaint ● Investigate Case ● Review Evidence ● Outcomes: Issue Mandatory Restrictions We must hear from the abused directly with their detailed story given to an Intake Consultant at our Office, or written out by the complainant. Our investigators will research the case, interview the accused and any witnesses, and compile the evidence. Then the case with evidence is passed on to our Judges panel who will review all information and issue a decision or mandatory restrictions or, in some cases, expulsion. The full process varies in length of time, depending on the complexity of the case. Please Note: We are staffed by dedicated volunteers, fully trained for their respective services. All information provided to us is fully confidential. |
